This past weekend the Backdoor hosted Nederland’s 1st Film Festival. This Event was produced by Colorado Festival Productions and we’re all very happy with the results. The organizers, Jake Fink & Jill Brooke, did a great job of pulling together partnerships between local merchants, the Seniors and the Backdoor to create events around town as well in the Community Center.
And the main event was a delightful 2 days of diverse short films and features from around the world, including from Colorado, and even a Valentine’s Day Special shot right here in Ned. And after select films, they followed with a live video Skype/Zoom connections between Film Makers and the Audience for Q&A sessions. It all ran flawlessly, what a treat that was!
The folks who worked on this projects, are all hoping this will become a new annual event. But of course ultimately, it’s up to you the audience. I liked it, but what did you think?
